MicroStep-MIS India participated in PreciSense, a National Workshop on Reliable Hydrometric Data through Precise Sensing, organized by the Central Water & Power Research Station (CWPRS) in Pune on January 22 - 23, 2026.
The workshop focused on improving the accuracy, testing, and calibration of hydrometric and meteorological instruments—an essential step toward more reliable measurements and better decision-making in water management.
The event brought together experts and institutional users responsible for hydrometeorological observations across India. Discussions highlighted common challenges in field measurements and the importance of traceable calibration, consistent procedures, and high-quality reference standards.
As a Gold Sponsor, MicroStep-MIS presented its portfolio of calibration and forecasting solutions, demonstrating how precise instrument verification and quality control can directly support more dependable monitoring networks and data outputs.
The programme also included a visit to the Calibration Laboratory supplied by MicroStep-MIS, which is featured in CWPRS materials as part of their facilities and capabilities.
MicroStep-MIS has been supporting CWPRS in strengthening calibration infrastructure since the laboratory’s inauguration in 2024, and PreciSense provided another opportunity to connect with users, exchange practical feedback, and contribute to improving measurement reliability across the sector.
