Weather Studio is a meteorological software platform designed for national meteorological services, aviation authorities, private weather companies and scientific organizations to receive, process, visualize and produce meteo. data and forecast products.
Tasks text
  • Participate in the continuous development and improvement of Weather Studio features.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation and user guides.
  • Deliver training sessions and workshops for customers and internal teams.
  • Gather customer feedback and translate it into product improvements.
  • Provide subject-matter expertise to the project manager and support product marketing activities.
  • Track the competitors to keep up with the market needs.
  • Integrate new meteorological data formats and ensure compliance with WMO and ICAO standards.
  • Participate in testing and quality assurance activities.

Education Level

  • Second-level university degree (Master’s degree)
  • Third-level university degree (PhD)

Field of Study

University degree in meteorology, computer science, geosciences, or a related technical field

Language Skills

English – B2 level

Experience

Field/Position: Meteorological forecasting, product owner, geoinformatics
Minimum years of experience: 2 years

Personal Requirements and Skills

  • Experience with meteorological or environmental software systems.
  • Understanding of meteorological data formats and forecasting workflows
  • Basic Python programming skills are an advantage
  • Familiarity with OGC standards and GIS concepts is an advantage.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with international customers.
  • Willing to travel and perform for trainings to customer
  • Background in operational meteorology or weather forecasting (advantage)
  • Knowledge of automated production workflows (advantage)
  • Interest in meteorological standards and emerging technologies.
