MicroStep-MIS participated in Kick-off Meeting of EUROCAE WG-109 Runway Weather Information Systems held on 23 - 24 of May in EUROCAE premises in Paris.

The aim of the meeting was to define the scope and work plan for the working group, which should set up minimum standards for systems monitoring runway surface conditions. MicroStep-MIS also presented to very diverse audiences at the meeting (airport representatives, sensor manufacturers, rule makers) its proposal of such system developed within SESAR Pj03b-06. MicroStep-MIS has become the EUROCAE member to continue actively participating in this working group and other activities in the future.
