MicroStep-MIS succeed in the tender of the Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute (SHMU) for the delivery and installation of the flood early warning and prediction system.

SHMU is currently in the process of development of a network of automatic meteorological stations for the purpose of flood early warning and prediction system. The system comprises of 215 automatic meteorological stations with various levels of instrumentation spread over the territory of the Slovak Republic. The implementation of the system is planned for the years 2014 and 2015.
